STACEY WILSON
for Bell County Commissioner Precinct 2
for Bell County Commissioner Precinct 2

Stacey L. Wilson is a community leader, public servant, and advocate for working families across Bell County. For 25 years, she has served the people of Killeen, Harker Heights, and Salado—first as a military family member supporting soldiers and their families at Fort Hood, then as an elected official and nonprofit leader committed to making government work for everyone, not just the connected few.
She is running for Bell County Commissioner, Precinct 2, because you matter. She believes that county government should deliver results: fixed roads, clean water, fair property taxes, and mental health services that treat people with dignity instead of locking them in jail cells.
The County Commissioner is directly responsible for county roads. Stacey will
publish a public list of the worst roads in all three zones and fix them one by one, starting with the
most dangerous.
Salado residents deserve clean water coming out of the tap. Stacey will secure the
infrastructure investment to make it happen.
Property taxes should not rise faster than paychecks. Stacey will advocate for
Every dollar Bell County is owed, including full state reimbursement for veteran property tax exemptions, so the burden doesn't fall on working families.

Mental health crises should be handled by doctors and counselors, not police and jail cells. Stacey will advocate for county investment in mental health services that treat people with dignity and allow the police to focus on protecting and serving the citizens of Bell County!!

Stacey has spent 22 years supporting soldiers and military families at Fort Hood. She knows what veterans have sacrificed. Over the past several years, county budget allocation for veteran services has been cut significantly. Stacey will restore those funds and make sure veterans get the support they have earned. She will advocate for increased county investment in veteran mental health services, job training programs, and family support services. Veterans built this community. It's time the county budget reflects that commitment.
Stacey grew up in Steubenville, Ohio, a steel town where people worked hard and looked out for each other. Her father was a police officer. Her mother ran a business. Her mother taught her six
children that service wasn't something you talked about; it was the way she lived her life.
In 2000, Stacey moved to Bell County to join her husband on his assignment at Fort Hood. She didn't know a soul in Killeen or Harker Heights, but she showed up. For over the next 22 years, she worked with the Fort Hood Garrison Chaplain's Office as a private contractor, supporting soldiers and their families through deployment, loss, and transition. She became part of this community.

Served on the Harker Heights City Council, advocating for neighborhood infrastructure, public safety, and economic development.
Served as Political Chair of the Killeen NAACP, leading voter registration drives, community forums, and advocacy for racial justice and equal opportunity.
Served with the Harker Heights Library, Harker Heights Animal Shelter, Special Olympics, food pantries, the local Sickle Cell Anemia organization, and multiple nonprofits dedicated to supporting families in crisis.
Built and operated a small business, understanding firsthand the challenges families face when property taxes rise, roads crumble, and government doesn't deliver.
For too long, Precinct 2 has been treated like an afterthought. The connected few get results. The rest of us get ignored.
In Killeen, voters were gerrymandered into a doughnut hole so their voice/vote would be weakened. In Harker Heights, the county takes veteran tax dollars and leaves the city millions of dollars short every year. In Salado, infrastructure crumbles while pet projects get funded.
Stacey is running because she has watched this happen for 25 years, and she is done waiting.
She understands the challenges faced by working families. She understands the military spouse who has to rebuild their life from scratch, over and over again. She sees the pain people feel when property taxes rise whether their paycheck does or not. She knows homeowners are tired of paying premium taxes for substandard service.
Loving your neighbor isn't a suggestion. It's the way she was raised. Loving your neighbor means showing up in Killeen, Harker Heights, and Salado, not just where you got votes. It means fixing the potholes that blow out tires. It means clean water. It means sewers that don't overflow. It means roads that don' flood. It means delivering results, not rhetoric. People, over politics. It means making Precinct 2 the top priority, first and always.
I am running because you matter. I am running to be the voice of the people. I am running to make Bell County deliver for you. So, if you want a candidate who will advocate for the people's interests, vote for Stacey Wilson for Bell County Commissioner, Precinct 2. Again, I am asking you to bring a friend. I am asking you to Show up. I am asking for you to Vote for me, Stacey Wilson, For Bell County Commissioner, Precinct 2. Let's make Bell County deliver for YOU!!
